Conroe Septic Pumping is a state-licensed installer working to TCEQ standards. We install conventional, aerobic, and low-pressure dosing systems for homes, businesses, and industrial sites.
When you need septic system installation
- You are building on a lot with no city sewer.
- The existing tank has collapsed or the drain field has failed past repair.
- You are adding bedrooms or a guest house, and the old system was sized for less.
- A sale or an inspection turned up a system that no longer meets code.
- You are replacing a cesspool or an unpermitted system with a permitted one.
What we do on site
- Walk the lot. We look at where the house, well, driveway, and trees sit. That tells us where a tank and a field can legally and practically go.
- Check the soil. The soil decides the system type. Heavy clay that drains slowly usually points to an aerobic spray system or low-pressure dosing instead of a conventional field.
- Design and permit. We match the design to your household and the lot, then help with the permit. In most of the county that goes through Montgomery County Environmental Health Services.
- Set the tank and lines. We dig, set the tank level, and run the lines from the house. For aerobic systems we set the treatment unit, pump, control panel, and spray heads.
- Inspect, start up, and walk you through it. After the permitting authority signs off, we start the system and show you the lids, the panel, and the alarm. You leave knowing what normal looks like.
Septic system installation in Montgomery County
Clay soils here drain slowly, so many lots cannot pass water through a standard gravel field. That is why aerobic spray systems are so common across the county. Each one must stay under a maintenance contract with an inspection at least every four months.
Lots within 2,075 feet of Lake Conroe are permitted by the San Jacinto River Authority, not the county. Its rules are stricter, so lakefront designs need more planning. We help with permit paperwork on both sides of that line.
What affects the cost
- The system type: conventional, aerobic, or low-pressure dosing.
- The tank size, which follows the size of the home.
- What the soil allows, and how much digging the lot needs.
- The distance from the house to the tank and the field.
- Whether the lot falls under county or SJRA permitting.
- Removing or abandoning an old tank on the same lot.

How to get ready
Before the site visit, find your survey or plat and mark any buried lines you know about, like water, gas, or irrigation. Tell us where you plan to put a pool, a shop, or a driveway, since the system cannot go there later.
After install, keep vehicles and heavy equipment off the tank and the field. Do not plant trees over the lines, and let new grass take hold over the disturbed ground.
