We handle rooter service for simple clogs and hydro jetting for lines packed with grease, roots, or buildup. On a septic property, we also check whether the tank is the real reason the line will not drain.
When you need drain cleaning and hydro-jetting
- One drain backs up while the rest of the house drains fine.
- A line clogs again soon after it was snaked or plunged.
- Water comes up in a tub or floor drain when the washer empties.
- A kitchen line runs slow from grease buildup.
- Tree roots have been a problem in the line before.
- A commercial kitchen or business line needs cleaning on a schedule.
What we do on site
- Find where it stops. We ask which fixtures are slow and test a few of them. One slow sink points to a branch line, while the whole house backing up points toward the main line or the tank.
- Check the septic side first. If every drain is slow, we open the tank before we touch the line. A full tank or a blocked inlet baffle looks like a clog from inside the house.
- Clear the line. For a simple blockage, rooter service cuts through it. For grease, scale, or roots, hydro jetting scours the pipe walls with high-pressure water so the line is clean, not just open.
- Run water and confirm. We run the fixtures to make sure water moves freely to the tank. If the line still drags, that points to a sag, a break, or a root problem that needs a repair.
- Tell you what caused it. You hear what we pulled out and why it built up. If it will come back, we tell you what would stop it.
Drain cleaning and hydro-jetting in Montgomery County
Most homes outside city limits here run on private septic, so a slow drain is not always a pipe problem. A full tank or a failing aerobic unit can back water into the house. We check the tank as part of the call, and can pump it on the same visit if that is the cause.
Sewer line hydro jetting on a septic property also has limits. We jet the line from the house to the tank, and we keep the water pressure and debris out of the drain field.
What affects the cost
- Where the clog sits: a branch line, the main line, or the line to the tank.
- Whether a snake clears it or the line needs hydro jetting.
- How much grease, scale, or root growth is in the pipe.
- How easy it is to reach a cleanout on the line.
- Whether the septic tank also needs pumping.
We give free estimates, and we beat any written quote. Call (936) 209-5078 and describe which drains are slow.
How to get ready
Stop running water in the backed-up fixtures before we arrive, and hold off on laundry and the dishwasher. If you know where the cleanout or the tank lid is, clear a path to it.
After the line is cleared, keep grease, wipes, and paper towels out of the drains. Scrape plates into the trash so the line stays open.
